Huntington’s Victoria is a registered NDIS provider for support coordination and plan management. We are also the only specialist service for individuals and families impacted by Huntington’s disease and we understand your circumstances and the complex needs of the HD community.
When you access our qualified staff we utilise our expert knowledge of the disease to help you overcome and address barriers to make sure that you can connect with both mainstream and specialist health and support services. Throughout this process, we are committed to providing a holistic approach, supporting not only the person with the plan but also their informal network. We also recognise that at times issues may arise that fall outside of your plan, but will support you to overcome these.
If you choose to select plan management with Huntington’s Victoria this means that we will manage the payment of your invoices to the different service providers on your behalf and monitor your budget. This service aims to help reduce the stress and worry about overseeing this all by yourself. If you do choose this process, it is important for service providers to be aware that payment timeframes can be between 14 to 30 days
